...specialists in childcare

Network Nurseries have a very clear recruitment procedure. Once appointed, staff are required to apply for a DBS check.

In addition, in order to comply with company requirements, new members of staff must provide at least three items of official identification, three references, one of which has to be from their previous employer. After three months, they must have completed our induction process, followed by a thorough review at the three month stage. At this point all paperwork has to be complete and a good progress report received from the Manager.

Where there are weaknesses the review period is extended in order to giver the member of staff sufficient time to achieve the expected standards. There is no second extension.

The quality of staff is fundamental to the quality of provision for the children. We expect staff to provide the best learning environment for the children, by occupying them and extending their learning opportunities. Staff are expected to attend in-house and external training to further develop their childcare skills.

Staff are expected to provide information for parents and work closely with them and their children through the key person system. Parent partnership is important to us.
